Biography
Hon. Stella Soi Lang'at previously served as Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture, the Arts and Heritage. She was appointed by H.E. President William Ruto and approved by the National Assembly under Article 152 of the Constitution. Her portfolio included gender mainstreaming, social protection of women, the creative and arts sectors, and Kenya's cultural heritage agencies. She is no longer listed in the current Cabinet at president.go.ke/cabinet/.

Master's in Public Administration (Executive) from Moi University; BA (Political Science) from University of Nairobi (1990-1993).
Professional experience
29 years in public administration. Under Secretary in Office of Attorney General (2014-2015). Deputy County Commissioner in Bomet, Kisii, Kitui. Bomet County Secretary (2020-2021). Director of Administration at State Department of Housing and Urban Development (2021-2024). Director of Administration at Ministry of Interior.
