Biography
Two-term former Governor of Murang'a County (2013–2022). Founder and party leader of Usawa Kwa Wote. Has formally announced he will run for President in 2027. In 2022 he was removed from the IEBC presidential nomination register after the commission ruled he had not collected the required 20,000 supporter signatures; he has pledged to clear that hurdle this time, claiming he will submit '15 million signatures.' After his 2022 bid was disqualified he supported Azimio's Raila Odinga.
