Biography

Kenyan businessman and political strategist. On 18 September 2025, at a leadership transition ceremony at Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi, Safina Party founder Paul Muite formally handed over the Safina flag to Wanjigi, installing him as Party Leader (with lawyer Willis Otieno as Deputy Party Leader) and confirming his 2027 presidential bid. His agenda is anchored on 'economic sovereignty' — proposing a debt brake, a forensic audit of unconstitutional public debt, repeal of VAT in favour of a sub-10% sales tax, and balanced budgets. Previously contested the 2022 ODM presidential primaries.
