Biography
DAP-K Party Leader and former Cabinet Secretary for Devolution & ASALs (2020–2022) and Defence (2018–2020) under President Uhuru Kenyatta. First publicly signalled his presidential interest on NTV on 13–14 January 2024; DAP-K formally endorsed his 2027 bid at party headquarters on 13 February 2024. On 29 January 2025 he announced DAP-K's exit from the Azimio coalition. Younger brother of the late Vice-President Michael Kijana Wamalwa. Former MP Saboti 2007–2013 and Cabinet Secretary for Water (2015–2016).
