Biography
Julius Makau Malombe is the current Governor of Kitui County, elected in the August 2022 General Elections under the Wiper party ticket. As county chief executive, the Governor leads Kitui County's development agenda, oversees county government operations, and implements policies to improve service delivery to residents. The Governor chairs the County Executive Committee and represents Kitui at the Council of Governors (CoG), working with other county leaders on inter-governmental relations and devolution matters.
