Biography
Issa Abdalla Timamy is the current Governor of Lamu County, elected in the August 2022 General Elections under the ANC party ticket. As county chief executive, the Governor leads Lamu County's development agenda, oversees county government operations, and implements policies to improve service delivery to residents. The Governor chairs the County Executive Committee and represents Lamu at the Council of Governors (CoG), working with other county leaders on inter-governmental relations and devolution matters.
